Delete your Walkwards account

In the app

1. Open Walkwards Settings.
2. Choose account deletion.
3. Type the word DELETE to confirm.

Without the app

Uninstalled the app or can't open it? Write to privacy@walkwards.com with the subject "Delete my account". Give your nickname. No ID document needed. Support replies within 48 hours, in French or English.

What is deleted

Your account, nickname, coins, status, missions and your step and water data. Coins are not refunded: they disappear with the account. Deletion is done within 30 days.

What is kept, and for how long

Some data is kept apart, without your nickname or e-mail, and looked at only by the publisher, in case of a dispute or fraud:

• your gift card requests: 7 years;
• the record of each opening of your cards in the app: 7 years (never the card code or link);
• proof of your agreements (terms, age 16 and over, health consent): 7 years;
• anti-cheat signals and risk score: 12 months.
• if your account had been suspended for fraud: the block on its phone for new accounts, 12 months after deletion.
