1. How do I earn coins by walking?

You earn coins by reaching step tiers during the day: 2,000 steps = 10 coins, 5,000 = 25, 8,000 = 40, 11,000 = 55, 14,000 = 70, 17,000 = 85, 20,000 = 100 (last tier in Bronze; in Silver and Gold, more tiers follow up to 30,000 and 40,000 steps). Nothing extra between two tiers: 4,900 steps = 10 coins. Tap "Validate" before midnight: at midnight, the day's unvalidated steps are lost. We need your consent to read your steps in Apple Health or Health Connect; without it, the app stays open but steps earn no coins.

2. And with water?

Add your glasses with the app's buttons or your watch: 0.20 L = 1 coin, so 5 coins per litre, up to 2 L a day (10 coins). Beyond that, water is shown without coins. Litres typed in by hand earn no coins.

3. What is the most I can earn per day?

For steps and water together: 110 coins in Bronze (100 from steps + 10 from water), 140 in Silver, 170 in Gold. Missions and referrals come on top.

4. How much does a gift card cost?

€10 = 20,000 coins · €15 = 30,000 · €20 = 45,000 · €40 = 84,000 · €50 = 105,000. The €5 card is not available at launch. You can get one card per week (Monday to Sunday), all brands together. Prepaid cards are reserved for Gold status.

5. How do I receive my card?

It is shown in the app: it is the link or code given by our gift card provider. Walkwards never asks for your bank details.

6. How do statuses work?

There are three statuses, Bronze, Silver and Gold, with three levels each. Missions, surveys and games give XP that fills your weekly gauge. Full gauge: you move up one level. A new week starts on Sunday at 9 pm. You never have to move up.

7. How does referral work?

Your friend enters your code at sign-up or within 48 hours. If they walk 3,000 steps and drink 1 L a day for 5 days, within 14 days, they get 300 coins and you get 500 coins + 500 XP. You can refer up to 10 friends.

8. Who can use Walkwards?

Anyone aged 16 and over. You sign in with your Apple or Google account, no password. One account per person.

9. Do my coins expire?

No. But an account inactive for 24 months is deleted with its coins; you are told 30 days before.

10. How do I contact support or delete my account?

Write to support@walkwards.com: reply within 48 hours, in French or English. To delete your account: Delete my account.
